Goals on the 1st matchday: Lewandowski meets for seventh time in a row

Torjäger Robert Lewandowski from FC Bayern has achieved a goal on the 1st matchday at the beginning of the 59th Bundesliga season in the seventh season in a row. No other player in the Bundesliga history met in so many consecutive seasons.

In the opening match at Borussia Mönchengladbach (1: 1), the 32-year-old poles scored the goal for 1: 1 in the 42nd minute. Previously, Alassane Plea (10th) had been the first Gladbacher since 1975 the first goal of the season of a season.
