Lost Ark Pet Guide
Pets are a basic element of the MMORPG genus, so it is not surprising that they appear in area lost too. However, instead of being only a showcase for your character (although they also serve for that purpose), pets in _area lost also have a series of benefits that are worth knowing. How to get a free mascot in area lost
After completing the history mission "Demons in Piehole", a new guide mission called "Learn about pets" will be available. This mission is short and mainly requires you to talk to some NPC. The mission will teach you some basic aspects of pets and then reward you with the cute white bunny. Now, there are some reasons why you want to have this pet (or any other you win) invoked at all times.
Automatic looting with pets
Collect all the booty that throws the enemies is a tedious process, so, fortunately, all pets are configured to plunder items automatically. By default, they will literally collect everything, regardless of their type or rarity. This can be changed through the pet inventory, which allows you to configure what is looted.
For the most part, you will want your pet to pick up everything, although it may be good to skip low level elements if you are exploring early areas to collect.
Ark lost Effects of pets
The effects of pets are passive bonuses that apply to your character while a pet is invoked. Unlike other versions of _area, the Western version has greatly simplified these effects. Pets can have two effects equipped at a time, which can be changed in the Pet Management NPCs (which are shown with a dog icon on the map). The first and second option have different groups of effects to choose from, which are:
First option | Second option |
---|---|
It Had + 5% | Critical + 10% |
Physical Defense + 10% | Specialization + 10% (increases the specialty of class and the effectiveness of awakening ability) |
Magic defense + 10% | Domination + 10% (increases the damage to CCD and stepped enemies) |
Reduction of physical damage + 5% | Quickness + 10% (speed of movement and attack, reuse times of reduced skills) |
Magic damage reduction + 5% | Resistance + 10% (resistance to overall damage and increased healing) |
- | Experience + 10% (DC and stepping increase) |
Since changing these effects is free, it is easy to change your pets according to the content you are doing (that is, to increase the speed to reduce the travel time between the collection nodes).
Pet functions - Area lost
While the two previous bonuses apply at all times, PET Functions will only work while having an active subscription from Crystalline Aura. Crystalline Aura is a monthly subscription that activates a series of bonuses and can be purchased with crystals (won through the game or purchased with real money).
Pet functions mainly allow remote access to functions that are normally found in cities. These include remote storage, market, mail, repair and access to gems. You will also get additional inventory space through the pet inventory.
None of these is absolutely necessary, but they are good quality of life that can be useful in case of trouble. Crystalline Aura also has a number of other benefits not related to pets, which are more useful in the long term.
Sail missions - Area lost
This is a minor benefit compared to automatic looting and statistics increases, but can help you get some additional rewards. In your lost, it is possible, it is possible to complete missions through the station. Each mission requires that you formers a team, which also includes a pet.
Pets are specialized in certain difficulties and will increase the adaptation bonus percentage if they are taken on such a mission. The percentage of adaptation bonus increases the possibility of rare rewards once the mission is completed, so those few additional percentage points mark the long-term difference.
And that's all you need to know about pets in area lost. Currently, most pets are obtained with real money, either through the cash store or the founding packages. However, with the changes made in the western version, the initial pet is more than enough.
