1899 Hoffenheim holt Julia Hickelsberger

Julia Hickelsberger will move to the Kraichgau at the coming season. The 22-year-old comes from the Austrian series champion and leader SKN St. Pölten and signed a contract until 2024. After Melissa Kössler, Hickelsberger is already the second new offensive access for the TSG women.

"I had the opportunity to look at everything on site and was thrilled with the events," the ÖFB national player is quoted in the Hoffenheimer media release. The 22-year-old moved from SV Neulengbach to St. Pölten in 2019 and debut a little later in the national team. In November 2020, she threw a cruciate ligament rupture off the track for many months, and only this spring Hickelsberger returned to the pitch for the ÖFB.
