Where can I find Io Guardians in Fortnite Season 8?

Are you trying to find Io Guardians in Fortnite Season 8? One of the new hole card quests for Charlotte requires that players eliminate two IO guards, but many people have difficulty find out where they should turn to this challenge. Io Guards are no longer as numerous as in season 7. You are much more difficult to find in this season, but not impossible to find. Here you will find IO Guards in Fortnite Season 8.

Fortnite Season 8 IO Guards Locations

Io Guards can be found in the new Sideways areas. These are marked on the map with orange circles with violet outline, and you can see the huge orange domes when you leave the combat bus. Inside you can meet either lateral monsters or IO Guards. It seems like Io Guardians of the rarer of the two enemies, so it can take some games until they find one. Silenced zones usually appear on designated places such as Pleasant Park, Craggy Cliffs or Corny Crops.

It seems like Io Guards is currently incredibly rare, which is frustrating for many players. The remaining dishes on the island have apparently been abandoned and the small IO outposts on the map seem to house at least for the time being no IO guards. Epic could customize the spawn rates very well or add more spawn sites to help players to complete this quest, but at the moment they just have to try their luck in Sideways zones.

Since the Sideways are new, many people stream in these areas at the beginning of each game. This can greatly complicate your search for IO Guards, especially since most other players try to hunt them according to their own punch cards.
